Problems with structural deformities, inflammatory conditions, degenerative arthritis, trauma, infection, or vascular problems can plague the knee. This can involve joints (degenerative or inflammatory arthritis), tendons (patellar tendinitis, Osgood-Schlatter's Disease), blood vessels (osteochondritis dissecans) but especially cartilage (meniscus tear, ACL tear).
