Problems with structural deformities, inflammatory conditions, degenerative arthritis, or trauma can lead to shoulder problems. This can involve joints (degenerative or inflammatory arthritis, AC joint arthritis, total shoulder arthroplasty, shoulder separation), tendons (rotator cuff tear, bicipital tendonitis), cartilage (SLAP lesion), or bone (Bankart lesion or downsloping acromion).
