1)     Exercise Classes

a)     PACE (People With Arthritis Can Exercise) classes at Normal Township Hall

b)     Aquatic – Classes twice weekly at the YMCA and once weekly at Rob Knight’s Swim America.  Water Aerobics (Aqua Stride) twice weekly at Gold’s Gym

2)     Self-Help Classes – Six to seven week courses to help people with arthritis or fibromyalgia take control and manage on a daily basis

3)     Support groups – Monthly meetings for people with arthritis, their family, and friends

a)     Fibromyalgia – Support groups meet the third Monday in the evening

b)     Support groups for adults and children, call for information

4)     Assistive Device Loans – With a doctor’s request, individual’s may borrow canes, walkers, wheelchairs, hot wax therapy bath (paraffin), bedside commode, toilet seat risers, educational videos.

5)     Special events – Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis, Mini Grand Prix, The Benefit, Golf Tournaments, Joint Walk, VIPS for Annual Spring Fund-Raising Campaign, Arthritis Foundation on TV

6)     Educational Seminars – Free to the public

7)     Volunteering – Volunteers needed for office help, newsletters, public speaking, health fairs, fund-raising, special events, education, and advisory board
