McLean County Orthopedics Welcomes Dr. Shaun A. Kink, M.D., Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon, to Our Team


McLean County Orthopedics is pleased to welcome Shaun A. Kink, M.D. to their local medical team.

He is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle treatment and handles an array of orthopedic conditions that impact the lower extremities.

Before pursuing his medical degree from Michigan State University, Dr. Kink earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Butler University. He completed his Orthopedic Surgical Residency with Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners at Michigan State University and went on to finish a Foot and Ankle Fellowship through Harvard University's program at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kink will be accepting new patients immediately and joins the MCO team with enthusiasm.

He and his wife Kelly McFadin, and their daughter Charlotte are delighted to be moving back to Central Illinois. Kelly is a native of Bloomington and attended Central Catholic High School and Illinois Wesleyan University. Outside of his work, Dr. Kink loves sports, exercise, and traveling abroad.

McLean County Orthopedics provides comprehensive services for McLean County as well as the surrounding Central Illinois Area.

MCO physicians are trained in every sub-specialty of orthopedics including shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist, hip, knee, foot and ankle, and sports medicine. Additional onsite experts include an orthopedic oncologist as well as a physiatrist and a pain management physician, who specialize in non-surgical spine and neck treatments. MCO also has on-site X-ray and an open MRI machine as well as in-house occupational and physical therapy.The organization recently added an Overtime Injury Clinic for walk-in convenience and continues to expand services and build expertise for the benefit of the community.
