McLean County Orthopedics Welcomes New Foot and Ankle Specialist

McLean County Orthopedics is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Adam J. Buffington to our team! Dr. Buffington is a board-certified podiatrist and is fellowship-trained in advanced foot and ankle reconstruction.

Dr. Buffington graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science with a degree in podiatric medicine in June of 2016. He then went on to complete a podiatric surgery residency and received reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification through OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. After graduating from OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in June 2019, Buffington completed a fellowship in advanced foot and ankle reconstruction through Northwest Illinois Foot and Ankle in July of 2020.

Dr. Buffington will be joining MCO in September of 2020 and is excited to serve Bloomington-Normal and the surrounding communities. With his extensive training, Dr. Buffington is the perfect physician to care for your foot and ankle injuries.
