After working at Carle MCO as an orthopedic technician in 2018, Parker returned to Carle MCO in 2021 as a physician assistant to Dr. Lucas Armstrong. Coming back to Carle MCO was an easy choice for Parker because of the great environment and friendly staff. Working with Dr. Armstrong, Parker frequently assists with total hip and knee replacements. Parker grew an interest in orthopedics after sustaining a sports-related injury himself.

Parker grew up in Bloomington, IL, and graduated Cum Laude from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology. He then received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medicine Allied Health Professional. During his final years of college, Parker completed various clinical rotations that included Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and Orthopedics. When he is not assisting Dr. Armstrong, he enjoys watching the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears and spending time with his family.
