Sandra Fader MSN, APN, FNP-BC

Sandy joined McLean County Orthopedics in 2014 working on Dr. Naour's team in pain management. She is a native of Springfield Missouri and in 1997 began her nursing career in Kansas City Missouri. The Fader family relocated in 2002 to Bloomington-Normal where Sandy continued her nursing journey serving others in home care, hospice, and outpatient primary and specialty clinics. Sandy’s passion is focused on education for the patient and family as well as well as hiking, running, bicycling, and outdoor activities with her husband and two beautiful daughters ages 13 and 10.

During her nursing career working with Dr. Naour, Sandy began to pursue goals to better assist Dr Naour and his wonderful patients. Sandy furthered her education and completed the nurse practitioner program at Illinois State University in the Spring of 2017. While working in a pain management specialty Sandy recognized the need for a chronic patient support group. In 2014 she developed a support group with monthly meetings which are currently held here at MCO. With excellence, Sandy provides specialized care for patients who are experiencing acute and chronic pain, diagnosis, treatment, and management of pain related conditions.
