Dr. Carmichael focuses on the non-operative treatment of neck & back pain. This involves diagnostic testing, therapy, injections, and other percutaneous (needle) techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator, or vertebroplasty. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG). Dr. Carmichael trained at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Carmichael wrote an article on EMGs for the April 2010 issue of Healthy Cells magazine.
