Dr. Jason R. Michaels specializes in Interventional Pain Medicine. He attended Southern Illinois University for medical school and his medical internship, and the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine where he completed his Anesthesiology Residency and Pain Medicine Fellowship.

Dr. Michaels’ roots are in McLean County.  He graduated from University High School, in Normal, and is originally from Lexington. Following his high school career, Dr. Michaels’ attended University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where he studied biology and enjoyed writing comedy. Before deciding on a career in medicine, Michaels’ received an opportunity to work in New York to pursue comedy. He enjoyed writing sketches and producing video content, but ultimately pursued medicine, as it offered the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

He and his wife, Dr. Courtney Morgan-Michaels, are thrilled to return to care for residents and friends here in Central Illinois.
